Any success stories on booking JAL business class via Cathay at schedule open?

My husband and I are going to Charleston in June. Looking for recommendations on lodging.

First 2 years for CSR is about to be over, and I’m looking at the value of the card against the annual fee. Combined with my other cards (Chase Freedom Unlimited & Flex) and deducting the $300 travel fee, the net benefit is $76. Is that enough to justify keeping the card? The lounge access at airports were a nice benefit, never got to use it since my client travel was through Amtrak.

Headed to Nashville for fun this weekend. Any brunch or dinner recommendations? Staying near Vandy area.

Anyone have any car rental hacks to get something other than a compact to show as a compact on the receipt? Traveling on federally reimbursable funds, so need to show a compact car. But hoping to get something nicer but not get flagged by the Bean Counters. Thanks!

28M. First time solo travel 3 week trip to Spain coming up. Flying Royal Air Maroc from US. They’re allowing 2 check in bags and 1 carry on. However, I want to travel light and am trying to avoid check in bags completely.
