Taking the family on an Alaska cruise next summer and want to use points for the flights to ANC and return from YVR. AA has the best times, but tough to transfer from Amex (have 1.2m points). BA is a partner, but no AA through their site since they aren't saver flights. Amex travel has them for 90k round trip economy, but I begrudge the valuation when first class international to Europe can be had for not much more if you time it right. Can anyone think of any other plays?
