It's a travel ban on anyone with a passport from these countries, pending further clarification who is exempt (e.g. Priebus saying today said green card holders are fine).
Also these countries were selected by *drumroll pls* OBAMA!
Afghanistan? I wouldn't be surprised if his business interests are influenced in this but I'm amazed how everyone could look over that these countries all have unstable governments, are war torn, and likely do not have reliable documentation over their citizens. There are 40 other muslim majority countries unaffected by this but I certainly wouldn't impede individuals that have jobs and have been previously vetted. I don't necessarily agree with his executive order but the false reporting amongst intelligent individuals amazes me. I conclude that muslims are the victims here and it's unfortunate how so many great Muslim people and Muslim us citizens will be negatively impacted by stereotype and uncomfortability.
Also the language does not target green card holders but immigration officials are still including them - it would be in the interest of the administration to correct this misinterpretation of the executive order
Does anyone even remotely think the bans/restrictive measures will stop with this?! The reaction is due to a few reasons: 1) no intelligence officials or security experts were consulted. This was pushed through from Trump's inner circle, with minimal notice to DHS, border security, pretty much anyone. Not much clarity or operating procedures were provided. 2) this is the start - if anyone believes that after 90 days, everything is going to be hunky dory, I will sell you my family owned bridge in the Arctic circle. 3) you don't think this is an anti-Muslim shot? How many non Muslims come to the uS from those banned countries? 4) They call this an introduction of extreme vetting? Syrians assisting US army have waited 2 years for clearance processes to come to the US - what can be more extreme?!

C1, the GC holders are not US passport holders. Period. Plus if you are a dual citizen with either of these 7 an the US, you are still in a problem at the immigration.....regardless of religion
Not true P2, the dual citizenship ban is only in affect if neither of your citizenships are American
^ also wrong. Approved countries (e.g. Canada) are also acceptable.
If you are dual with these you will get held, if not deported....
Officials at JFK slapped handcuffs on an Iraqi man who put his life on the line to work with US troops, and officials at Dulles detained a five-year-old and prevented his mother from accessing him during detention. This EO might be a "temporary ban" but it's still likely unconstitutional and incredibly shameful.
It's not unconstitutional. Obama did the same thing in 2013 when he suspended Iraqi nationals from coming to the US for 6 months. No one flipped out about that.
