Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

I work at Netflix. We get up to 12 month paid leave (regardless of who gave birth, if you adopted etc). Most people take around 9 months or so - it’s totally up to the person to decide what is best for them & their family ❤️
Google gives 4 weeks pre-birth (birthing parent) + 6-8 weeks disability (birthing parent) + 18 weeks baby bonding leave (all parents). So if you give birth to the baby, it's 28-30 weeks fully paid.
People append Vaca time and sometimes unpaid leave 1-3 months, too.
The first two weeks are fully paid, but you work 50% time.
And the first 90 days, you can be fully WFH.
VP, I come from Agency side, so I recognize (and am grateful for) the longer time off in Google/tech.
I think it's just so much harder for agencies - who essential make their often thin profit margins from people, their brains, and their ideas - to give paid time off that's in line with tech companies :/
There are some agencies who do a stellar job, but it's a tough comparison
LinkedIn gives up to 3 months of pregnancy leave (I took the last month off before my due date), standard 6-8 weeks if you give birth (disability), and 12 weeks of bonding leave for any parent.
