I’ve gotten asked how I deal with feedback in two different interviews recently. Anyone have an idea of what a good answer would be? I panicked and said something about paying close attention to redlines and proactively attempting to improve my legal writing but I’m not sure that’s what they’re looking for.

Why do I get an auto-decline from MBB? I usually get to the online/HireVue interviews for every other company (finance, consulting). I have a high GPA and a lot of research experience in popular fields (ML/DL). But for MBB I get a decline the next day. Is it because my undergrad is from abroad and non-target? Am I missing resume keywords?

What’s the point of HBS’s post interview reflection? From everything I’ve gathered it seems like it won’t save you and it won’t tank you (assuming you don’t write obscene/rude things). So, why bother?

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...

2 months later and I am still waiting...

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

I mentioned that I was interested in learning more about the full compensation package (benefits, etc.), but the recruiter insisted twice. I do not want to price myself out of a position or lose money either. All tips are greatly appreciated.

I was contacted out of the blue by a headhunter last week promising to do their best to place me in an AMLAW200 firm as a lateral. (4 years practicing, all litigation; looking to move to transactional).
I’ve never dealt with a headhunter before, and I’m taking everything they say with a grain of salt, so insight as to their effectiveness, reliability, and overall successful placements in or equivalent to the type of firms they have connections with is greatly appreciated.

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? Starting an IVF cycle shortly; and feeling very anxious. My period, which is usually within 25-28 days hasn’t started yet. It is 14 days late (and no, I am not pregnant :). My doctor had me patching 4 estrogen patches everyday for 10 days.
Has anyone else gone through this? Delayed period because of IVF stress? Or delayed period because of estrogen patches?
I don’t know what to make of all of this. Any help/ guidance would be great!
