I will be moving to Australia from the US in a couple of months. I was wondering what would be the best way for me to transfer the money in the US bank account to Australia? I recently received an offer at Accenture UK in Edinburgh as an L9 software engineering team lead. I have 3 YOE. Compensation package is £40, 000 base and a sign on bonus of £4000. What should I be expecting at this role? Is the offer good enough?

Does anyone include a bit on invoices like "Accounts not paid within terms are subject to a .75% monthly (9% annual) finance charge" or something like that?

Tangentially, has anyone had an invoice with 30-day terms kicked back for revisions because the client's terms are longer, or do they just ignore what you've stipulated?

I have total 11 years of experience in IT (Enterprise applications:Oracle Weblogic) and 4 years in DevOps, Git, Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes. Currently working with Accenture India. I have been trying for almost a month in LinkedIn (applying for jobs as directly messaging recruiters) for opportunities in London, however not getting any positive response/interview calls.

My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue?? Would it be terrible of me to quit during my rotation’s busy season? I got put on a mandatory rotation this summer (PwC is big on pulling resources especially now) but I’m really ready to get out. They stress being a “team player” and I have a feeling they will use this against me when I try to quit.
