Thank you for sharing. I found an executive therapist. The kind that focus on those in leadership/business owners to help them figure something out. Another thing, outsource everything that could be outsourced even if other people don’t understand. Example: laundry, animal care, shopping, simple reports or mundane duties at work, etc. You will be trading money for some of your time back. I’m was in the same situation, and slowly getting some relief now, as of last week.
I’ve been burnt out as well. I totally do this too; Outsource everything you can - don’t let anyone judge you. Analyze everything that gives you true joy and schedule time for the top ranking ones. Scrolling away on the phone is not de stressing at all. For me, it is a few mins of skincare in the evening. Also, spending time with my spouse. We actually take a day off work and go do something we like, without the kids. I look forward to these “dates” more than I imagined! We schedule them months ahead for the whole year. You got this!
This really hit hard this morning. I feel this. Exactly as you said. I’ve been going for so long I don’t know how much longer this can last.
Yes it’s real , I had it too and saved myself with meditations (at some point I did them almost 24/7).
I wish I had an answer to offer but this is literally me this morning
I really want to say to all, you have to fill your own cup before you fill for others. What are you doing to help yourself recover? My first questions are you sleeping? And are you meditating?
One thing that people don’t know about sleep is that it affects everything about your health. All the recuperation that your brain does while you’re asleep is needed. If you go to bed too late For your body type not just too late too late on the clock if your body clock is a specific way which it is and you go to bed too late you miss out on the HGH that gets released every night. You do that over a period of days or weeks or months and you are officially in sleep deprivation very quickly. Now you’re a much higher candidate for a stroke or a heart attack, the first thing you have to fix is your sleep. What are you doing to relieve your stress? The only thing that works for me. I do a lot of things but the main thing that works for me is meditation. It sounds woo woo, but it’s not. There are a dozen apps out there to help you start to get used to doing it, you don’t even have to use an app you can go and figure it out. I always wanted to do it but when my body told me I had to do it. I haven’t stopped. It’s the only thing that works for me. I urge you to try to get these two things done and you will immediately see a difference in your stress levels And your health.
There are a dozen sleep science tests that are out there on Instagram that have podcasts. The two that I follow is Chris Winters, and Shelby I can’t remember her last name, but they’re both really wonderful and they’re very knowledgeable. So you will be amazed at what you find out and then start bio hacking your life, to get the stress under control.
