The "family" energy in some restaurant job ads is a massive red flag. Usually, it just means they expect you to cover shifts for free or stay three hours late because we are all in this together. I would much rather a boss who treats me like a professional and just pays me for my time.

HELP! 30+ years of teaching Sped and I’m at a loss. 6th grade student in Middle School with Doose syndrome. Prior to MS, the elementary said he never caused problems. Since the 1st day, he is disruptive in class, refuses to work, and is disrespectful. He has a one-on-one para but she is in tears most days because of his behavior.
