Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Joining Google in a few weeks and assuming I will be moving to the Bay Area sometime this year. For people who have kids, what do you do about schools? My wife and I are looking to buy a place but most the public schools in the South Bay are rated terribly. It’s good to note we don’t have kids yet but are trying to think longer term. Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
