The offer is $15k more than I make now, but the benefits are garbage. There's no 401k match, barebones health insurance, barely two weeks of PTO. On paper it’s more money, but once I calculate the out-of-pocket costs, it honestly feels like a wash. I’ve always been told just take the higher salary, but this feels like one of those traps that looks good short term and bites you later. Would you still take a role with great pay but trash benefits, or is total comp the only number that really matters?

My friend have cleared Tata Elxsi interview 5 months back and received her offer letter. Still now she haven’t recvd a joining letter. Couple of other friends are also facing similar issue.
