Anybody waived their escrow and has been paying their property taxes in full? how was it? is it worth waiving it? will you really save some $$ when you do that?

Had a real estate agent help me for the past 2 months but my parents urged me to use another real estate agent who would give me half of their commission from the sale so it can help me on closing costs. I feel really guilty and I’m not sure if I should tell the real estate agent that I initially worked with and I’m not sure how to go about it. First time home buyer and new to real estate!

I am presently working as a Research Analyst (MBA 1.5 YoE) with EY GDS and I wish to work in HR or Talent function. What should I do to switch into those roles.

I had two recruiters today reschedule a meeting. And this is the second time rescheduling. Honesty, not sure what value recruiters bring. Is this common now? Is it hard to have respect for people’s time and their schedule? Reschedule once I can understand. But twice is just stupidity. I hope AI wipes out all bad recruiters who don’t give af. Sorry for the vent. Maybe it’s just my bad luck then.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. Does anyone else feel like people who are generally nice in person and on calls sound mean or stand-offish in emails and text/chat? I get that over-use of friendliness in text can come off as green/immature, but I tend to try and cushion my words with positivity or even exclamation marks/the occasional emoji to show that I don't sound completely unemotional.
