There are many variations of the definition of deception. One may say deliberately hiding the truth, or the action of causing someone to accept something as true, or intentionally misleading someone.

However you define it, overemployment can be described as deceptive. Everyone has their reason and not everyone is honest. Do you believe overemployment should be described as deception?

No. What I do in the rest of my time is none of my employers business. Did I do my job well? That is what should matter.

I agree with separation of work and non-work shenanigans. I would have a hard time relaxing with constantly looking over my shoulder.

Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?
