SCORES ARE UP!
McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Yes keep at it! Most things happen for the best! Keep the interview practice going and remember you learn more with each interaction. When the right role comes along you will be ready. Practice makes perfect. Also assess where you are stumbling in last step.
Ugh I’m so sorry! I know how this feels, I am in a similar boat. I try to take a day or two off from applying or interviewing specially after being rejected from a role I really wanted. This job market is so draining & I hope it changes soon.
Yes it is extremely draining and there is more supply than demand especially leadership roles. Knows folks getting rejected even after negotiating offers and details cause more senior leaders who have been laid off are able to take roles. Essentially quicker hire with lower sign on costs.
One day at a time! Best of luck
I’ve been out for a year, which is mind boggling. I’m about to start a long term full time freelance role thankfully that can likely go perm. What’s kept me going is continuously filling the funnel, exercise (so important for your mental health), and taking nothing personal. I’ve also had offers go on hold during this time, so be cautious when you do get an offer to not cancel others interviews until you start the new job - consider it an unfortunate insurance policy with this market.
