Any nurses here not have hospital experience? I work as a community nurse and have previous experience in an assisted living and clinic. I don’t have much interest in going to the hospital. Been a nurse for about 9 years. Started out as LPN and now I have small children and enjoy my flexibility. Any regrets for those that never did the hospital ?

Can anyone tell me about infusion nursing? How did you get into it? (I see a lot of job postings but they all want experience.) Also I got my RN early in the pandemic, so I never got a preceptorship, and I’ve since worked mostly in immunizations. Took a phlebotomy/IV course for more practice, but… any advice?

Good morning, hope everyone is having a great week! Does anyone have any advice on breaking into an analyst role? If we analyze our military incursions in the world, we entered Vietnam and Afghanistan, and in neither of them, we have done very well. We have had many casualties, and they say that this is normal in a war. I think we have a problem with military planning, who thinks the same?

I’m a second year associate at a small, but reputable firm. My caseload is almost entirely made up of clients who were referred to one of the partners but the partners are too busy so I end up taking the case. The clients are told up front that an associate, rather than a partner will be taking his/her case. I’ve run into an issue a couple of times where the client doubts my advice because I am only 2 years in. Has anyone else experienced this? How do I address the fact that I’m only 2 years in?

What house plants are NOT toxic to cats? I swear every time I go to buy a new plant and look it up it says “toxic to pets”. I have a dumb cane which I know is toxic but didn’t realize when I bought it so now I just keep it in the laundry room away from my cat when I’m at work but that means no daytime sunlight. Would like suggestions on which plants I can buy that are safe to leave alone with my cat 😸
