Mary Kay wanted to recruit me in 2010 or 2011. I told the lady trying to recruit me, I don't like ppl, I don't like organizing events, I don't like most of the products.
I killed the enthusiasm, but the lady still tried to push it down my throat. Then i knew she was trying to hit a target of number of ppl she recruits. I told her thank you but not interested.

I actually did well with a few but in general they are more work than they are worth

It's one of those things where the business model sets you up for failure. Such a small percent will make money. But they don't want you to know that.

I used to sell Tupperware because I love the product and wanted to get it for free or discounted. I also used to sell Advocare because of the health benefits of their products. I just don't have time to do it right now
