This return-to-office mandate is so frustrating. Remote work didn’t mean I was parenting while working — it meant I could finally do both without sacrificing either. I’m a mom of two, and I’m heartbroken watching so many women forced to choose between showing up at the office and showing up for their kids. Anyone else struggling with this? Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
