That's what uber says... at least in most cities. However, do an analysis from a drivers standpoint and you'll find that once accounted for the depreciation on the car (very real thing when driving inNYC and stuck on the fucking tunnel lanes/10th Ave areas or in Chicago traffic), fuel costs and repairs... most would likely not make more than $10-15/hr... I usually throw in a tip which I'd anyways be almost "obligated" to pay had I used a yellow cab

Unfortunately u do and should tip them. They're always way nicer than yellow cab drivers
