Historically, in the US (and the Middle East in recent years), >60% of MBB, OW, S& Partners probably clear 1M. The operative word here is “historically.” The firms had outsized profits during the COVID boom and think the bonus sizes between 2020-2023 are a norm. No it’s not.
In the EU, maybe 3-40%
In Asia Pacific, less than 20%
Not sure if you count Accenture in any of those tiers but I’m close to $2M annually (usually). Between 1.5M and 2M is a safe range. Depends on stock price and RSU grants of course. High performing L2 MD, in queue for SMD next cycle.
US Market since that seems highly relevant based on other posts.
What’s your sales and rev target for an L2 at ACN? Appreciate it might be practice-specific
Thoughts on the % of journalists who get Fishbowl users to get them info or data?
Not everyone on Fishbowl is who they say they are.
B4 US = 1500-2000 each (ballpark).
Define T1/2/3
P1 only edit is that at EYP it's about year 5 maybe 6
B4… ~60-70%
Would be greatly interested in what % break $2M and $3M. Seems like it weeds down quite a bit.
I’d guess at ZS it’s also pretty small % that clear $2m. I’ve been very close to that for the past few years but haven’t quite cleared it.
T1: 90%+
T2: 55%
T3: 40-90%
Do u count total comp or only bonus?
Pretty much everyone at the equity partner level at MBB should clear $1M and then be well above that at 3+ years in. Exception may be the very first year due to comp timing.
I genuinely think the avg Deloitte partner in London earns more yeah. EMEA profit pool at Bain is absolutely terrible …
I am at a boutique that might be T3 and these are interesting numbers. Just wondering, there is some significant survivorship bias here right? I assume some aggressive performance management and usually you’re out after say a rough 18 months of sales?
I have heard Alix and A&M have highly individualized comp that yields great results but I also get the impression that it is cutthroat to be at that level consistently. Then you have somewhere like ACN where the long timers do really well but sounds like it’s tough to get there and especially for a direct admit.
But maybe I’m wrong—can someone confirm that these figures reflect some significant ongoing counseling-out? Thanks.
