Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

Praise be to God! Have been praying for this day for a long time.
Now the most vulnerable human beings can start to be protected again. Of course it’s not the end, there’s still much to be done.
May respect for the dignity of all life continue to grow.
In terms of what’s happening, the most probable explanation is that someone leaked the draft in order pressure the justices into changing the outcome (reverse the reversal).
There are almost too many passages in the Bible to count that emphasize the sanctity of unborn children. Not going to list here, but you can easily Google them.
Speaking more generally - Many passages throughout the Bible refer to how God molded us in the womb and “knew us” in the womb, and even before the womb.
Then there’s the incarnation of our Lord Jesus in Mary’s womb. The archangel Gabriel announces that this moment of conception in the womb is extraordinary, that it is the beginning of humanity’s salvation. Not the birth which happens later. When Mary visits her cousin, John the Baptist (in his mother’s womb) is able to recognize the presence of God (in Mary’s womb) and “leaps for joy.”
All of this supports the clear conclusion that our souls are present at conception. And full human beings created by God.
As someone who grew up outside the US, this debate always trips me up. I am a woman who has fought for equal rights all through my life, I am very passionate about the gender and racial pay gap for example, in getting paid daycare and maternity leave, I cannot understand how a right to abortion makes women feel empowered. I can understand one- off situations, but a whole nation obsessing over it, is something beyond my comprehension
It is a strange thing in the US, mainly because of Roe v. Wade. Instead of other countries where the subject was debated and legislated on, the Roe ruling unilaterally overturned all restrictions on abortion and created a culture war, which is now perpetuated by parties with a monetary interest in keeping the number of abortions high (e.g. Planned Parenthood) who masquerade as being pro-women, when they’re just focused on making money.
Pray for the justices to do the right thing. Pray for their protection from extreme leftists who would attack them/their families/associates. Pray for their strength, conviction and courage to stand up for the Truth against the external pressures.
Ending human life should be a very serious and difficult thing to do. Capital punishment, homicide in self defense, abortion all fall into same category for me. There are very few situations where it should apply and it should be strongly regulated
I’m in full support of the overturn and returning the right to protect unborn persons’ constitutional right to life to the states.
What’s troubling about this, though, is that the integrity of SCOTUS’ ruling, and potentially in future politically-heated issues, has been jeopardized by this leak.
Unfortunately this still does not establish a constitutional right to life. That is still part of the fight. 🙏
