Are you working in a building? Either way the answer to me is shorts are not something I would wear in to an office or as a field adjuster. Office should be temperature maintained which makes pants more practical. So the uncomfortable aspect is to and from your vehicle.
If they’re OK and within your dress code, make sure you follow the dress code if they are OK they should be fine. When the company I worked for changed the dress code to include shorts, which are only allowed at the knee for both male and females, the men jumped all over that.
Once spring hit, and sometimes even during the winter men are in polo shirts and shorts and tennis shoes For half the year.
Absolutely- even when I’m in the office I’m not customer facing …. So hell ya
Most companies have a dress code, if you can’t find that online ask your manager. Since most buildings are air conditioned, you could wear shorts on your commute and change into pants at the office.
No. Never.
Agree with this answer!
I work from home - so I wear pajama shorts LOL ... OK, when I was in my corporate life, we allowed shorts but they had to be "business casual" shorts, no denim unless it was a dress denim style. For us girls it's easy, skirts all summer long;
