Thinking of getting the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Card (6% back on groceries) does anyone know of grocery stores in DC that don’t accept Amex?

My husband is now refusing to submit my green card application (I'm the one paying for the whole process). We got married a year ago and he knew I needed that and was ok. My work visa is expiring soon and I'd be able to renew it by myself and keep my job, but cause I married him, now I can't. I literally would have to divorce him to get it renewed. Everytime I try to talk about the topic he refuses the conversation saying I'm with him just because that (not at all the case). WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Making a move so will be spending $5-$10k in the next 2 months .. have amex platinum and chase freedom so no good rewards back. Should I look to get a new credit card to maximize this move? If so, which card would you suggest (my credit score is 780+).
