Rising Star
Venezuela, some Americans just came back and brought back a bounty
Yeah I’m itching to go there - security had improved even before the President was arrested. Might do some research on it
Rising Star
Romania castles and unesco medieval towns
On my short list - thanks!
Iceland, Italy, Portugal. Wait for summer for Iceland. It’s beautiful. Italy - how have you been so ,Amy places and not been to Italy. Great museums, food, and history. Portugal - I haven’t been there yet but have the tickets bought. Seems like it will be good for food and architecture.
Thanks - no hurry to go to Italy, just seems overtouristed with lots of pickpockets and scams. Thought about Iceland and Portugal, though
+1 for Iceland for the beauty and ability to self drive. Chile - W trek / Patagonia or Atacama Desert, Belize or Costa Rica - lush green rainforests and wildlife. I found Belize a little more interesting since they have the Mayan archeological sites as well.
Perfect thank you. Just saw some Mayan sites in El Salvador and spent a lot of time in Panama but seems Costa Rica has more tourism options. Both are good options
I won’t include Portugal or Italy since MD1 already gave good reasons there, but I second both.
Egypt/Jordan — lumping these together since it’s an easy trip to combine, but top tier historical sites to see. Egypt can get a bad rap but it’s not an issue if you go with a tour guide imo
Croatia - beautiful coastal vibes but not as crowded or expensive as some of the comparable places
St Kitts - hard to see where you’ve been in the Caribbean, but I found St Kitts to be a fantastic combo of island relaxation and terrific food.
Russia is an HM since going there in the immediate future may be prohibitively challenging, but an incredibly culture rich destination with amazing architecture if it’s possible for you
Jordan might be next, thinking even of making it a two-week vacation. Haven’t been to St. Kitts - might do some island hopping or ferries and hit a few other places. Croatia and Russia are both on my shortlist.
I was a huge fan of turkey. Did 4 days in Istanbul then took atlas jet to Izmir and did 3 days there including a day trip to Ephesus which was amazing (pay for a tour guide).
Thanks - already did Turkey and loved it (it’s in blue) Haven’t done Ephesus and Izmir, though
USA
All you have to do is learn some Spanish phrases and we'll pay for your flight home
If it was in gray I’d take you up on it
