How much would my tech stack and language be a factor in getting selected in faang or good product based companies?

I read everywhere that only DSA and system design is needed, but I'm still concious about my tech stack.
YOE: 5 years

Study and earn some software certifications—Salesforce, AWS, Workday, etc
Tons of free coding websites. They've got courses and everything. That knowledge and experience directly translates. Then just market it on your resumé as what you're capable of doing for them rather than what you have(n't) done.

Although experience is awesome, it’s OK to be at the starting point. I would much rather invest in someone who’s really good at what they do than someone who has 10-15 years experience being rigid about the way they do things. Managers hate that. Start working on side projects and build up a portfolio. That will be more valuable than any other thing you can do. Also tell recruiters and potential bosses that you’re malleable and able to pick up new concepts quickly (but only if that’s true).
