Anyone out there have an inkling for when SF May lift their freeze? The number of open positions on their site has dropped 70-75% (for US based roles) so the freeze provides an explanation for that. Just curious when they will begin to post those positions again. TIA!

We have had several folks leave including RVP’s, AE’s, SE’s and CSG in our org. We have been told all backfilling is on hold until further notice. We have individuals covering different things across regions at the moment.

Salesforce 2 - curious about your kool-aid comment. Was/is the culture not as advertised? It’s the main reason I’m searching (that and pay and wanting to feel impactful, and pay).

Ideally looking for SE Management/Director openings so very interested in getting your take on that part of the sales ecosystem at SF.

I actually just got offered despite being told it was initially going to be Q3, to my understanding each hire requires an exemption request from a departmental VP to Finance for approval (no idea why I got lucky, most likely replacing someone🤷‍♂️)

1) I know that most of you will say that buying an expensive engagement ring is a waste and bad, etc. so let’s start with the assumption that I don’t care and it’s happening
2) does it make sense to finance an engagement ring purchase or buy in cash? If financing, how much would you have to put down for a ~$30k ring? (If you’re upset by this number just replace ring with car or education or wedding or whatever you feel good about lol)

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Wondering if it makes sense to apply for an Enterprise Architect (pre-sales) or a Senior Technical Architect role??

Also in terms of seniority and salary are these roles any different?

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

I don’t think I have enough YOE to go for a program architect role at SF otherwise I’d be interested.
