6 weeks.
I took 5 months off with partial pay for the last six weeks, then again that was 10 years ago so I don't know if that's still a possibility. I did save up a bunch of my PTO though so I already had 12 weeks + FMLA/maternity so I ended up being able to stay home for much longer than my colleagues.
I had 16 total weeks paid leave between birth recovery and bonding. Honestly, having 16 weeks I feel is not enough.
It was before PPL and I had had a medical emergency (ongoing chronic condition I will have forever). I got 3 days when I adopted my son. Bond on your own time I guess 😒
