To those that have holidays preset by countries, would you prefer that you get floating days off that you can have on other days or stick with the holidays themselves? We get Friday off for the 4th of July in the US but it would be a lot better for me to have the Monday off instead. Any opinions on this?

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.
