Today I encountered the strangest bug I have ever seen with Excel+Thinkcell. I have, as always, a separate Thinkcell sheet where I gather and structure the data (from other sheets) I want to make charts of. However, when linking this data to charts, all formulas in the sheet turns into values. This has never happened before. Anyone else seen this and knows what is going on?

I have a question about pricing. Some context to my upcoming question: My brother and I are starting a personal training business. I have six years military experience and he is still in the military. Collectively we have passed the hardest schools in the military and both love fitness and have experience building programs and are both certified personal trainers. Need help with a formula. I’m downloading bank statements to excel and I’m trying to do a lookup so it fills in the category based on the bank description. The problem is I’m trying to use the entire bank description as my lookup value, but the table array I’m searching only has the first part of the descriptions (because the last parts are all different bank ref numbers). How can I do this?

How can I add multiple characteristics within one cell and make sure that a pivot table can read both values independently if needed? E.g., I have a column titled “color” and in one cell I write “red” and the other “red, blue”.
