What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.

Does anyone know why so many Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judges require so much extra stuff with motions for default judgment? Some require an affidavit about service when it's right on the docket. Others require a letter sent with a notice of the hearing, when the clerk clearly does that. I have practiced in multiple other counties small and large and none of them have these.
