Took my Vyvanse at 6pm on a Friday and now now I can’t sleep at 5am.

Sorry that happened, I know it can be tough to reset your sleep schedule after something like this.

Personally I never take my ADHD meds after 1pm (for XR).

Hi all, just moved to London from overseas. Unusual background: studied law, built expertise and reputation in regulation/policy for AI and internet governance, built a consulting business in tech policy & assurance space. 30, married with 2 kids (nearly 3). Wanted a bit of an adventure overseas, and to use our UK & Irish citizenship.

Grear to meet you all, hoping to make friends and learn tips.

I started taking Adderal, 2.5 g which is not really a lot. It didn’t really help with my focus, instead I felt restless and somehow nervous and really thirsty. And it made me clench my teeth. I do grind my teeth during nighttime but never experienced this in the daytime. Does it take time to get used to it?

Have SO much technical documentation to read by the end of the week. Very dry, but detailed. Probably about 300 pages worth.

Even with meds, focus is tough. Content is just so dry, but I need to be able to understand it to an extent. Can anyone provide any tips/tricks??

anyone been on adderall for a while and it just stopped working? i’m getting distracted more easily than before and losing motivation, even for things i want to do. while this may be partially due to anxiety/depression, i’m wondering if anyone has switched meds/doses after being on adderall for a long time and found it to be a big help.

Diagnosed recently at 30. Want to stay away from real meds. Going to try this and see if it works.

How much would a 30 day supply of Vyvanse (30mg) cost me after insurance? I know this is going to vary by plan but I'm still curious as to know how expensive of a medication this is.

My pharmacy informed me that the insurance will not cover without authorization from the psych. My psych was wary about this & instead suggested Ritalin during my session. He mentioned that insurance companies want us to first try Ritalin because they are generally cheaper. How much truth is there to this? Thanks!

Anyone from Accenture who has filed a request for an accommodation under the new system? Wondering how it went, what you got, if it disadvantaged you in any way...

Venting … So, this is apropos timing. I was hired by a firm (not the one listed on my prof) two months ago and on at least three occasions notified them about my adhd and the anticipated need for an accommodation based on historical experience and my documented diagnosis. Three weeks ago they fired me for not meeting expectations. I only put in four weeks of actual project work, in the last month of a 9 month long engagement. UGH! I just want to work..

How do you wake up and do the same thing over and over again every single day? I feel flawed that I can’t. I’m wondering if I should start taking my meds everyday rather than just the weekdays for work. Because the meds help me stay on track with chores and life but something about taking stimulants everyday…I feel so guilty…
