I originally was going to go to school for special effects and animation with computers. I have extensive knowledge with computers. I have an offer from EY GDS, joining date is September 1st. I really am willing to join with EY. I also have an offer from an XYZ company where the package is more. Can I ask EY HR to revise my package to match the highest package that I have?. Is there any chance that EY might reject my offer if I do so.

How do you best leverage a job offer when you don’t want to leave? In the running for a VP job (higher level than now) that pays $70k higher than what I currently make. I want to ask for more money, but don’t want them to see me as a flight risk or that I am not loyal anymore. I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director, Sr Director, and so on. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to avoid entering your work history dates beyond 15 years on those online applications that will not submit unless you enter dates! I was advised by job experts not to include any jobs over 15 years, but that will limit me to two jobs which do not reflect my scope of experiences. I had no idea it would be this difficult returning to work after retirement. Thank you in advance for any help in this area.

Should one add their personal technology that are currently used for remote work on their resume? Seems most companies will provide the hardware and software needed. However, it’s unclear if the employer will provide this through Teamviewer/VPN connection or will send an actual computer. Along with this, would it be pertinent to add your internet capability (speed, fios/cable/satellite/dsl)?

What do you recommend I do before shipping the PC back to my company. should I do a "Reset this PC and remove everything" that I'm able to access via the boot menu. Is there another option?
