turned down an FTE offer in march and specifically cited pay as the reason because i figured i would make more money staying in consulting... now customer ran out of money and all consultants are being laid off. worth going back and asking them if i can actually take them up on it?

In the state of CA for a full time non-exempt role. If fired without warning (no previous warnings/feedback) ⚠️ for "performance" (although performance was arguably good) or actually "team fit" (politics), do you have any case or legal standing?

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
Idk how to let go of this :/ Thoughts?

a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
