it’s upsetting because USDC folks aren’t allowed to go to DU (unless we make manager..) yet I talk to some core folks at consultant/SC level who have gone multiple times..make it make sense

MIT undergrad that got an admission into Sloan for MBA. Does it make any sense to go back to the same school? I really enjoyed my time there but can see how it’d look stupid to have an undergrad degree and MBA from the same place

Do companies really check to see if you completed your degree from uni most employee I have worked for never really asked to see it ?

My start date has been pushed back to Jan 4th. Do I have to wait until I start to get access to Becker materials or I can request it early and begin studying ???

I am tech guy with almost 3yr exp, but I want to switch to a Management role. Going for an MBA is not possible for me. I was wondering about the possibility to switch to a management role within the next 2 years without an MBA. Company/Brand is not a bar for me.

Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?
