I have resigned from my current organisation and have asked for an early relieving. I have offered to buyout the remaining of the notice period but my manager is not agreeing citing reasons as procedure of the company. My offer letter with this company states that I can leave early in lieu of payment of the notice period on mutual agreement. My manager is simply not agreeing as he is angry that I’m leaving. Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

I've heard that last year was rough but in general its good. Is that true?

I'm joining next month. Can i expect an annual hike of 10℅+ and bonus > 10℅ (which is target VP at my rank, 42) going forward?? Or is this unrealistic?
