Unsure if this is the right place to post about this. Currently, I’m a full time carer for my mother for the last four years, that I ultimately never agreed to do, which means my job experience is few and far between. I’ve worked in hospitality, volunteered at charity shops and worked in customer facing roles. I need to get out of my house, asap. I live in a small town where jobs are few and far between, I do not drive. I feel lost. I can’t find a job for the life of me. Does anyone have advice?

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)
