So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Why u r so desperate in getting married. You are lucky being unmarried. Just focus in yourself in upskilling your skills and fitness. Rest other things doesnt matter
Lol ..Its not about package. You can get more if you upskill rather thinking about marriage. Noone is happy being married
Don't know man what else to do here. Pray to god and keep hustling. I'm doing same of for the last 2 years. Getting high pay job. Learning, up skilling, preparing. Some day it'll happen.

Regarding the constant advice to upskill: weren't the employees laid off from Meta inherently skilled enough to hold their previous roles?
It's more about reaching out right people at right time.
See, there is no end to this: if you made 10lpa, they will ask 18lpa. If you made 20lpa, they will ask 30lpa. If you made 30lpa, they will ask 50lpa.
I only have one suggestion to offer: save money, focus on your career.
Time is difficult for everyone regardless what is shown in LinkedIn or what not.
If you persevere, you will get through it: you must.
I think you are right.
You should rethink on marriage. Because it will not be wise to get your woman in a life which will just be handling your childish behavior.
Your thoughts are those like out of a disneyland.
You dont know what.
So request you to avoid getting married unless your mind is stable. Stability in job is secondary. First your mind should be stable.

One more thing is we are living in Kaliyuga. During 90s and 80s and before all the people are able to get married just by seeing his permanent job role not by more money.But here in today’s time most of the people are not able to get married especially me due to high inflation and greediness and expectations and men’s expected salary should be min 24LPA.People should change these mindset’s.Then only every one will get married

As Married man my suggestion would be, Do not worry a lot about marriage at this point. Spend 6-7 months for your preparation, focus on your core skills, add AI skills to resume, highlight leadership skills. Assuming from your current package that you are working for companies like TCS, congnizant etc. Find a good job first than focus on marriage, without a good salary marriage won’t last even a year. I have friends who earns over 30-40LPA with failed marriages due to high expectations from their partner.

Also in marriages, good family background, family support,parents support, boys support, overall financial support(Multiple source of income,)safety is important.Not more money.In my case we have good family support,good background ,my support, good flat,good overall financial support(17lpa plus 2 house rents 55k per month), we have 2 flats, also we have good security and safety.Money is not everything for successful marriage
