Hi, I got a offer from HCL stating that joining within a month. As per my company policy - 60 days NP. I tried a lot for buyout option and leave adjustment in my current company. I didn't get any positive response. I'm in a confused state. Could anyone help me with suggestions. ThanksCognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture Infosys Wipro

Great, every day we get better and better news about this whole loan situation. I'm just going to stop caring entirely and see where that takes me for a change :)
Move off the grid to Africa, South America or Asia and stay there
This was always a possibility.
The current administration has been pretty clear that they want to crack down on student borrowers, and wage garnishment is one of the tools they'll use. I believe it'll only happen if someone is delinquent in payments, but that unfortunately includes a lot of people. I believe you can request a hearing to contest it. I think the total amount of garnishment is set at 15%, so it's not like someone will lose their entire paycheck, but it's obviously going to cause a lot of problems.
