How do I know if I'm experiencing burnout? 😫
Freelance Design Director UK 🇬🇧

I made it the final round "panel" interviews with Amazon for a hardware engineering role. Anyone got any tips or experiences with Amazon interviews for a HW-oriented role?
It's 5 hours total, first two rounds are with managers. What I've done in the past is give as many examples as I could for HW solutions that I worked on highlighting the tech skills. Wondering if I can do more?

In these days I have sarted to write an excel file where I have created a table with all the acrtive work activitiyes.
Compiling it with information like: if I have finished the activity, how much time I spent on them and what is their priority.
In this way I have a clear vision of my day work and underlineing the inefficiencyes I improve my motivation.
I just have to say, I wish I could be as organized as you. This is exactly the right way to tackle it and I find it very encouraging when people are able to accomplish it. Way to go!!!
I've come to embrace my procrastination habits. The feeling comes and goes so I know to become laser-focused when the motivation arrives, and once I start to feel my energy going down I just accept it and take a break. I WFH so this is obviously easier for me to do than other people
I just let the looming threat of my next deadline slowly approach until I physically can't allow myself to put it off any longer. Super chill stuff
There's often high stakes in the work that I do, so it's pretty easy to stay motivated when my actions could impact people negatively if I didn't take it seriously. I guess procrastinators could kick the habit by taking on roles where others depend on them
I like to give myself lazy days. I know I work hard all week, so if I want to take a day to be an indulgent couch potato and get nothing off the to-do list, I do it
It takes some trial and error to figure out what works best for you, depending on the severity of your habit. I could be that you do better when you get ALL of your work done in one day. Or maybe you need to do a hundred tiny bursts of work throughout the week. If you can afford yourself the luxury of trying different approaches to your work, you should switch it up and see what sticks
I get trapped in a cycle incredibly quickly. "Oh no, I'm already behind, so it won't matter if I'm another day behind." "I'm so many days behind and now it's embarrassing so I'm going to keep avoiding it." Learning to forgive myself if I let things go too long is what prevents me from avoiding those tasks even more. Better late than never as they say.
