@bdo1 I see you're still in phase 1/2 for now
As in phase 1 or 2. Per the progression stages above. Keep up bro.
"Phase"? Or probably "faze"? Anyway, good luck and take care, audit people! Although you do not have enough 💤 and you get 🗣 at, sticking it out is still worth the future career progression. And hopefully your dear audit partners will give you big 💸 as 🎁 (i.e., bonuses) later on.
@BDO 1, that's definitely not easy but after a few years of 60+ hr weeks sitting at a computer, your body starts to hurt and it gets miserable.
Also worked blue collar growing up, in 2nd busy season and it really isn't difficult at all. Most people who whine or quit have never worked a real job in their lives prior to public accounting.
Haha!
Staring at a computer screen for 60 hours a week is nothing compared to 75 hours of being on your feet doing manual labor. Although, It might be if you never worked a real job before graduating college.
Our A1 is in the 🤗 "They told us to ask a bunch of questions whose answers don't exist and seniors have no time for"
The 3rd was when I stopped loving it. 4th was so it doesn't end...
@D1, doing it wrong. Staff should feel good about surviving their tough season. Even though it's a joke. Then year 2, you get hit with reality to see if you can make it.
You must be watching me ^
60 hours a week sitting at a desk? My last job I worked 75 hours on my feet, this chit is easy. Not going to phase me
Phase 1/2?
@bdo1 what level are you?
L2
^appreciate the positive vibes, yo
hah! not for our interns. 40 hrs per week max 💁🏼
I can't wait for some of our new staff to get their shit rocked. They need to be humbled a bit.
I see the self fulfillment. I see surprise response to a reality check. I see self pity, then I see confusion. Confusion then turns into panic because deadline is coming. Then the moment of realization they picked wrong major and career. I see that the epiphany of wrong career choice leads to self loathing, depression, self inflicted wounds and finally we have death of the A1's soul to wrap up the progression. 💀
