Oh absolutely, ha.
I usually tell attorneys you'll know after the first round. And, let's be honest, the firm knows as well.
Feel free to reach out if you're interested in chatting about the market.
It shouldn’t take you that long. From application to offer usually takes about 1.5 months. It’s a good market. If you DM me with some general details, I can give you a sense of the strength of the market in your practice area and how long you should expect the search to last.
I feel like the hiring process (in general) has become very lengthy. I have been looking for a new job for about 8 months and can't seem to find anything. I would definitely start looking for a new role sooner rather than later.
I started looking in April of last year and had 3 offers by August. I don't know where you are or what the market is like but it doesn't hurt to try. The worst thing that could happen is they say no and you stay in your current role a little longer.
