Second nordstrom, get an appointment with a stylist and they’ll walk the floor with you to help start seeing some new style and options. You can get all your items altered during the appointment too.
Yep — stylists and tailoring are both free there, too
If you’re looking to upgrade your style without the hassle of shopping around, I’d recommend checking out stores like Nordstrom or Banana Republic. I particularly love Nordstrom because they helpful staff who can guide you through picking out outfits that fit your style and comfort level.
If you want something even easier, services like Stitch Fix or Trunk Club let you fill out a quick style quiz online and then send curated outfits right to your door, so you can try everything on at home and only keep what you like.
Trunk club may be out of business now. They once sent me white cut-off denim shorts in a “fall romance” theme box, so it was obvious to me they were just trying to get rid of last season’s stuff that didn’t sell. If OP doesn’t know anything about fashion, I’d hate for him to rely on Trunk Club and they pull the same sort of thing on him

You can always just add accessories to dress it.
