What a day of disappointment! Had phone screens with two of FAANG today. One said no visa and the other put the role on hold indefinitely. These interviews were scheduled two weeks in advance. FML.

I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I know that interviewing with google is a long process but I’m worried the longer I wait the more likely I will be rejected or just never hear back. Anyone else in this situation? How long until you got an offer?

Late 30’s with a couple of kids. Is it worth it for me to seek a CS degree at this time/soonish? I’m not afraid of the extra work, and would go part time. Wondering if the eventual payoff would worth the effort. Will I level up quicker? Employer has partial tuition reimb.

I’ve heard mixed results about the ROI of earning an MBA. My near future goal is to move into a Marketing Director (or senior manager) role.

For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. Anybody here have a Canon R and thinking about the R6 Mk 2? I'm debating. Biggest negative for me is the drop from the 30 mp sensor down to the 24 mp sensor. I don't do alot of "action" photography so many of the enhanced R6 features won't get used alot. I don't do video.

I think ISO is better in the R6 Mk 2. I do miss the joystick on my old 7D. IS seems greatly improved.

Is this just FOMO? As a hobbyist who shoots primarily landscapes, is this an upgrade I need?
