How long does Deloitte take to issue an offer. I interview for a DevSecOps position and was told I was getting an offer extended to me. I have barely heard back in almost 2 weeks from anyone about the offer and need to make a decision on other offers. What do I do? Could they be rescinding my offer?

What can I do if I believe I’m being overcharged for utilities. I was charged prorated around 125 for 11 days for water and electricity (this is my share in a four bedroom apartment). I think this is crazy expensive for utilities for 11 days. I did just move to Austin, is it normal for utilities to be this high ?

I have worked with Forbes top companies, for-profits, non-profits, & startups. I consider myself a solver of complex & complicated problems requiring mixed method research & novel solutions. This has led to issues in self-referencing title. I’ve been project manager, data engineer, developer, modeler, analysts, principle DB developer, etc. Most of my w2 work has been from offers of 1099 clients so I am usually asked to define my own title. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

Question about inclusion…. I’ve been teaching inclusion for 5 years so I’m still a newb, but a first year coworker of mine said she got points off on her observation because her kids were scattered in the classroom and she was having to move from kid to kid to assist. While I see the point of putting them together for convenience, I don’t agree with this at all! To me this is like singling them out by putting them all together instead of INCLUDED amongst peers.
