I’m getting ~2k in federal tax refund this year. Why is it so high? I heard that most ppl pay additional tax or get smaller refunds. Is my salary being withheld at a higher rate? I’m in my second year of employment.

Second is a senior manager level growth & partnerships role for a slightly larger company that’s cool but I’m less enthusiastic about. 165k with 20% bonus and equity. Ignoring equity considerations, would you take the job with lower pay if the company is more exciting?

How general/specific are the skills for healthcare consulting. Recently got an offer for healthcare operations but not 100% certain yet if healthcare is the industry I would want to stay in and want to see how transferable the skills are and how employers look at you after 2-4 years in healthcare consulting. Is it a bad sign if the company that typically moves fast (as said by former interviewees) is taking a long time to tell you whether or not you move forward to the next round in an interview?

Feeling down. I've interviewed for probably 12 positions (mostly Senior Manager level), and always getting rejected. Is this normal? I do try and ask for feedback, and sometimes they give saying that there just isn't the right fit for your skillset at this time. If so, then why did you interview me? #frustrated
