There’s great happy hours in SD. I’ll head to swan bar or university ave in north park at 4-6 for their happy hours. For weekends or when you’re off work…Have you been to wineries in Escondido or Jamul? I like going there over Temecula. Beer fests. Ocean Beach has bands playing on the beach sometimes and head to Kilowat for a beer after. Good happy hours and drink specials on the strip there. Observatory and house of blues have good concerts.

Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Applied 9/1 and on the applicant portal the status still says “in progress.” I got a great internal referral, but I’ve not reached out to the hiring manager. 😬 I know there were a few hundred applicants — what’s a realistic timeline and what could I say to the hiring manager if I reach out to them. I cleared 1 technical round. Then got call from MasterCard HR he said 38 LPA is max budget for specialist( Level 7) at MasterCard,if you are ok then will go ahead? Is it true ? I am expecting 45 LPA fixed from MasterCard. I requested to consider for lead role if budget is issue. As my experience is 12 years but hr told 13+ experience required for lead. Is it true ? Hello people of San Diego! Would love to hear how y’all are affording to live here comfortably. Please state your company, position, TC, YOE, and do you have a side hustle? I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at.
