You could ask about when they plan on going back to the office and what working remotely has looked like for them.
Thank you!😊

I wouldn’t ask them about how they handled coronavirus unless this will actually affect your decision to work with them. You can probably find that info online or by searching the company name in this bowl, but my guess is they handled it just as terribly as every other ad agency in my city.
Asking this may come off as you wanting to hear gossip IMO. The interviewers will have to decide if they’re going to badmouth the company and since you’ll be a stranger, they’ll probably keep it light.
Ask how they plan to encourage collaboration within the team with everyone working remotely and what it would look like working closely with a team that has never met you in person. Ask what tools they use to collaborate virtually, how much they do team check ins and how they’ll navigate ensuring you’re in the loop on projects with not knowing who to reach out to / a team that won’t be comfortable reaching out to you with feedback. Ask how the team gives feedback and how much of your work is collaborative vs done in a silo/ e.g. what’s their process.

No problem!! Good luck!!
Don’t directly ask about how they’re handling COVID, but being knowledgeable enough to think through the business impact for the specific dept/LOB you’re applying to would be a good move.
Thank you so much!
