Due to the length of my notice period (90 days) I decided to resign first and then look for jobs. Did I do the right thing? Also it has been 10 days since i resigned and have got no calls.

I’ve noticed that even when I include a specific request or call to action, that my emails receive a response less than 50% of the time. Is this lack of responsiveness indicative of company culture or more about the culture of recruiting, since they receive so many emails? Thoughts?
