staffing has been our biggest issue lately as well as getting our shipments on time.

Recommend that your leadership team look into Veryable. It’s a no-contract, no-minimum platform that gives real time 2-24 hour turnaround on labor demand; with rated, insured, and background checked distribution and manufacturing operators.

It’s typically cheaper full burden than temps, quicker turnaround time (as little as 2-4 hour turnaround time vs 24-96 hour turnaround with temps or industry average 44.9 day fte turnaround), and let’s you carry an external labor pool that isn’t on payroll but can plug the gaps for scaling up or down. Reduces admin burden cost and time, and in general removes most of the struggles with demand volatility as it relates to labor supply without carrying an over-leveraged FTE/temp model.

My manager hates that I pump for my 6 month old daughter. She's slowly trying to get me to quit. But I'm stubborn af and I'm gonna make her fire me. I've got plenty of dirt on her to bring the whole store down when I go.

Uhmm. This is something personal but whatever. Feeling like I'm not doing enough...also I've always struggled with speaking up in meetings so there's that.

Freight market is dryyyyyy. Covid messed a lot up but the supply chain especially

Maybe a dumb question for a lawyer, but is it normal to not be allowed to review an invention assignment agreement and post-employment restrictive covenant agreement at the offer letter stage? I’m told they can’t share prior to onboarding (I’ll be asked to sign them then) but I know I’m not going to sign some crazy non-compete so would like to see the drafts before accepting the offer.

Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. His messages show he still doesn’t know what he wants. Yet, if I am totally honest, I hate how part of me wishes he would do a grand gesture/finally decide to be a better man. It’s delusional. It’s crazy how love can be so rosy, sweet & blinding that the red flags seem surmountable.

Welcoming any feed back on my resume. I have been applying to supply chain roles (primarily planning and procurement) since May and have not received any interviews. Would love to hear any recommendations on what is missing and/or what kind of roles I should steer toward based on my experience. Thanks and happy holidays!

Hey Logistics/Supply Chain Folks! 2021 was full of challenges in virtually every facet of the supply chain. What gives you all optimism for 2022?

Was trucking my load across statelines, as one usually does. Turns out the new guy sitting next to me was never properly trained on how to secure said load inside the truck. Now we're trying to put everything back in it's place and it's so annoying. I don't blame him but still.

I'm glad people can order things online and get them the next day; but it makes my job harder because a lot of the people in my company don't see that we just don't have the infrastructure for that kind of operation, so they need to order it BEFORE they need it the next day
