AI still cannot be creative. It’s not actually AI—that’s all marketing. Putting aside that they were built with stolen art, eventually clients will get tired of the same-y uncanny valley of generated graphics. I wish I could predict when and promise it’s soon—tech bros are going to fleece a lot of people and move on to the next trend before Mark Read and his ilk realize that none of this works the way he’s been sold on it.
It took around 12 years from the Wright Brothers’ first flight to viable military use of prop planes… and they weren’t using computers which undergo exponential advancement at faster and faster clips. The writing is on the wall: Many white collar jobs will soon be obsolete. Within 12 years, easily. Possibly even sooner.

If you think that ai can do “graphic design” yet, you are not good at graphic design.
Yeah, but we’re right at the beginning of the AI journey. Think Mac 2 when Apple started, to what a MacBook Pro is capable of doing today and times that analogy to the power of a 1000.
To say it can only do this and that, is kinda like saying I can only save 5 Mb files off my computer back in 1989, and it sucks. Which it did.
Sure, but how many people do you need for that? Saying AI can’t do everything pulls focus from the real issue of it decimating the work force.

No it doesn’t, lol
Try it. It’s not really that great.
I actually don’t agree it’s rapidly progressing anymore. It rapidly progressed a few years ago and now improvements are very much incremental.
You don’t have to worry about it until it can think and perform well on its own. That’s general intelligence and we are probably 10-15 years off that. So really, think of this as the ai golden age where we are still trainers. Not sure if that makes you feel any better lol. Keep feeding the monster in the meantime 👹
The truth is everybody who replied here and has no real idea what that the ultimate impact will be.
Is this similar to your creative feedback? Just kind of pointing things out.
And we will all adapt as well
I think things will really pick up in about 5 years. We will need to be experts in AI tools and if you start now, you’ll be ahead of the game. Jobs will probably change. But we are creatives and can be flexible.
Sure! 2 years. 5 years. I think a lot of people in this comment section are in denial about jobs changing bc of Ai.

We can’t run any of this in market. The risk of a lawsuit for us and the client are absolutely massive.
First company to train on royalty free or no copyright images will make trillions.
Adobes already done this but the results aren’t as good
I’m curious to see how it unfolds. Our clients are not able to figure it out at this point
