Skechers
Hokas, Dansko, and Vionics. My feet deserve it!
Buy cheaper shoes, but put in excellent insoles. I paid $60 for Sole insoles, which are cork and can be molded to your feet. Best investment ever! I walk two to three miles—on top of my school day and when it’s not freezing cold here—and they are foot-savers. After a year, they are still in great shape, but I’m due for new shoes.

Vionics. I ruined my feet dancing through the 80’s in pumps, and now I have the neuromas to prove it. 😭

Whatever brands they got at Payless Shoesource and Rack Room Shoes.
All the Payless stores closed in my city.
Brooks
Doc Martens
Chucks, I’m flat footed.
New Balance tennis shoes. They’re pricier, but I can wear them for two years before the sole begins to wear out. Adidas Sambas are next best in wear and tear, and they only last about a year. All of these have very little traction, but I have overshoes ice cleats, so that’s a nonissue for me. Also, excellent arch support from New Balance.
sneakers....Hoka and Saucony
I wear a variety of brands, but I like my Nikes or Skechers best. However, they don't work well with dress pants. I can't wear a shoe with flat soles, so I try to find shoes that have good arch support. I have started wearing Hey Dudes some and they have pretty decent arch support, but I really like Clarks best. And, they last forever!
