Hi there! Can someone give a feedback on the IT Strategy role at Accenture Capability Network? I am from a Tier-1 MBA college with 1 YOE on a similar role, but this would be my first consulting job. Is the work profile too demanding and also how is it from career growth perspective? Your comments would help me a lot! Thanks! Accenture Accenture India

Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

I'm at EY Sydney, joined couple months ago.
1. It's still consulting, so wouldn't say relaxed, but it sustainable. Lot of people leaving at 5-6pm. Of course depends on the project.
2. Don't know
3. The person above pretty much nailed that answer: you need to take private insurance yourself. Most Australians are on medicare which you won't have access to. I went for low Bupa coverage, which is around 70 a month, so not that expensive if you are alone.
1. Depends on the team and the project
2. Consultants can be on anywhere from 65k-90k (incl. 10.5% superannuation). However, I've also noticed that promotions are faster at EY compared to other Big 4s. I've seen a lot of people join as a Graduate/Consultant and reach Manager in 3-3.5 years.
3. No health insurance. You get a corporate discount for HBF and Bupa though.
The UK is different — you pay a yearly healthcare surcharge as part of your employer-sponsored visa fees to get access to the NHS. There’s no way to access Medicare on an employer-sponsored visa in Australia. (I was in London before moving to Australia.)
